April 2024 – Unipart Rail has won the ‘Apprenticeship Employer of the Year’ award at Cheshire College South & West Apprenticeship Awards 2024.
The annual ceremony was an important event to reflect upon the benefits of apprenticeships and the brilliant work of students. It provided a platform to celebrate and reflect on the invaluable contributions they make to Unipart Rail.
All of the apprentices play a vital role in the production of first-class rail products and technologies across infrastructure, signalling, rolling stock and train operations for the industry worldwide.
This recognition has come because of the quality support and training that each of Unipart Rail’s Apprentices receive as part of their ‘on the job’ training aspect of their apprenticeship.
This is down to all of the quality training, guidance and support from the trainers and mentors within Crewe Service Centre, who take pride in passing on their knowledge and skills to the apprentices when they visit their area of work on rotation.
This award is a reflection of Unipart’s dedication to excellence in training, mentorship, and creating a supportive work environment, and Unipart looks forward to continuing its mission of being a leading employer in the rail industry.
