Unipart Logistics opens new parts distribution centre in India
Unipart Logistics, part of the Unipart Group, has announced the official opening of its purpose-built parts distribution centre for Jaguar Land Rover vehicles in India.
In July, 2014, Jaguar Land Rover selected Unipart Logistics to design, and operate the distribution centre and systems because of Unipart’s established track record for outstanding aftersales service across the globe.
The new distribution centre, purpose built and facilitised on a business park in Bhiwandi, occupies 6,500 sq m, closer to both the inbound logistics routes and customers.
Creating the Bhiwandi parts distribution centre was extremely challenging but the UK and Indian teams of both Unipart and Jaguar Land Rover combined to create an extremely impressive site Unipart looks forward to building on the hard work to deliver world class customer service.
