Unipart Group, one of Europe’s leading manufacturing, logistics and consultancy companies, was awarded a number of accolades at this year’s British Safety Council’s International Safety Awards, which celebrate and reward organisations from around the world.
This year, Unipart Logistics and Unipart Rail were two of only 15 organisations to be awarded a distinction.
Unipart Logistics also won the prestigious sector award for Transport and Logistics. Unipart North America was recognised with a British Safety Awards merit.
To win these awards all the companies will have had to demonstrate a commitment to safety, wellbeing and showcase strong leadership across their sites.
The importance of the awards has grown significantly, This year, 550 organisations of all sizes and sectors won an International Safety Award, including businesses from the UK, Africa, Asia, India, mainland Europe and the Middle East.
Unipart credits its success to The Unipart Way, the company’s proprietary business system for continuous improvement used by Unipart sites worldwide. The Unipart Way is a major contributor to the company’s safety record as well as increases in productivity.
