February 2025 – Unipart has recognised 20 colleagues who completed apprenticeships on a healthcare supply chain customer contract.
A special event in London last month recognised the dedication, hard work, and achievement of the apprentices, who now begin the next chapter of the Unipart careers.
Lara Watson, Network Operations Resource Manager, said: “Apprenticeships provide a great way for us to develop our people and give them the opportunity for career advancement. With succession planning in mind, we are also future-proofing our business for many years to come.”
The apprenticeships included Level 5 Operations Manager, Level 3 Team Leader, Level 3 Customer Service, and Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative. Unipart scored 24%, 21%, 7%, and 40% higher than the national statistic respectively.
Aneta Milek, who completed her Team Leader Level 3, said: “It was very challenging, but definitely worth it. I am so grateful to have a great team who have been very supportive of me. This Apprenticeship has shown me the bigger picture of my role and my place in the business. I’m delighted to have had this opportunity.”
Another apprentice who successfully completed her Team Leader Level 3 was Martyna Radwan. She said: “I was hoping to improve my management skills but learnt so much more than I expected. I learnt a lot about myself, my strengths, and my weaknesses, which has allowed me to improve. I’m proud that we have built such a strong team with good relationships. I recommend everyone to do this – the sky’s the limit!”
Lara said: “It was essential to celebrate the success of our first cohort of apprentices, and we will continue to do so throughout 2025 and the years ahead. They have paved the way for others and will be able to offer support and guidance to those following in their footsteps.
