People from UTL in Burton held a Christmas jumper day to raise money to support people living on the streets of Burton as part of the YMCA’s newest ‘No place like home’ campaign.
The campaign hopes to provide housing and support to 71 people who were all previously homeless.
The Unipart team has already taken part in the charity’s Sleep-out fund-raiser for the past three years, with six of them spending the night in a cardboard box at Pirelli Stadium on November 14 to experience what it is like to sleep rough.Unipart was one of the biggest fundraisers at the event, raising more than £1,000 for the homeless charity.
Emily Sendell, media and fund-raising officer at Burton YMCA said: “The UTL team sound like they’re having fun while raising money and that’s what it’s all about.”
