Colleagues at Unipart’s Cowley site helped raise over £800 this week for Maggies.
Unipart’s on-site restaurant, The Art Room, hosted Breakfast with Santa where colleagues and their families not only got to meet Santa but were treated to a full English breakfast with all the trimmings. The event raised over £200. UAL colleagues then went on to raise a further £600 from an in-house raffle.
The monies raised is being donated to Maggies, a charity with centres located in the grounds of major NHS cancer hospitals, offering support that people with cancer, and their friends and relatives, desperately need.
This is one of many fundraising activities the Unipart Cowley site has held in 2014 to help raise awareness and funds for this worthwhile cause.
