Helping healthcare supply chains become more resilient
We have partnered with the healthcare industry for over a decade through applying The Unipart Way to help NHS organisations to engage and retain staff, build capability, improve flow, reduce admissions and do more with the same level of resource.
Unipart’s experience and breadth of solutions positions it as the supply chain transformation partner of choice for the healthcare and life sciences sectors with one aim; to deliver better health outcomes. This means building resilient and innovative supply chain solutions, putting the needs of clinicians, patients and service users first, and focusing on supporting frontline care, wherever it is delivered.

Supporting healthcare to become more sustainable
Unipart provides solutions to make healthcare more sustainable – whether this be directly, for example through ensuring excess stock is managed in a circular way, or through the transportation of products in its supply chain in electric vehicles.

Using technology to improve healthcare supply chain resilience in the COVID-19 pandemic
At the start of the pandemic, volumes at Unipart’s NHS Supply Chain site in Bridgwater significantly increased. Using Unipart’s digital toolbox, the site was agile in managing resourcing and stock allocation. Unipart also used the technology to consider one-way routes across sites, minimising the risk of spreading the virus, whilst limiting the impact on productivity.
